The Bachelor of Theological Studies is built on the foundation of the Delta: Christian Ministry Certificate and the Church Planting & Pastoral Ministry Certificate and is intended for students pursuing senior leadership in a local church context or preparing for a graduate degree in biblical/theological studies.
This degree includes several courses in local church leadership, biblical studies, church history, and Christian theology and culminates in a year of focused biblical and theological study and research.

Upon successful completion of the BTh program, students will be able to:
1. Biblical Languages & Advanced Exegesis
Analyze New Testament Greek and Biblical Hebrew texts using basic grammar, vocabulary, and lexicons.
Perform in-depth exegesis of specific biblical books, accounting for historical-cultural contexts and original theological significance.
2. Systematic & Historical Theology
Evaluate the development of Christian doctrine from the Early Church through the Reformation to the contemporary era.
Construct a systematic defense of Christian doctrines (God, Christ, Spirit, etc.) and articulate them in response to alternative worldviews and philosophical challenges.
3. Professional Ministry & Homiletics
Craft and deliver engaging, biblically sound, and contextually relevant sermons through the application of homiletical principles.
Demonstrate advanced leadership competency by overseeing significant ministry responsibilities and cultivating a sustainable evangelistic culture.
4. Ethics & Critical Research
Analyze modern ethical dilemmas by integrating critical reasoning with a deep understanding of biblical principles.
Conduct responsible scholarly research, synthesize scholarly arguments, and engage with contemporary theological discourse.

A commitment to worship and serve alongside a local body of Christ-followers through participation in a local church
A minimum high-school diploma (or equivalent) and a grade-average of 65%
Proficiency in spoken and written English as demonstrated in the completion of ENG4U, ENG4M, or ENG4C with a 65%
